Our Vision

Our Vision is in line with the target of Vision 2023, the 100th Anniversary of Turkish republic, is to become an association that performs services to the Turkish Materials Handling Sector, aiming to be ranked as the 3rd biggest market in Europe with an export of $2 billion in 2023, representing abour 20.000 units sales volume of forklifts by the end of 2023.

Our Establishment

The Material Handling, Storage & Industrial Equipment Association of TURKIYE, abbreviated as İSDER, was officially founded on 08 February 2006, by the 15 leading companies which are the companies and subsidiaries of the biggest holdings of TURKIYE.

İSDER, representing the Materials Handling, Storage & Industrial Equipment Sector, which operates entirely towards investments for approximately 40 years, by proudly representing 70 % of the Materials Handling Sector has become one of the most indispensable elements in the Turkish economy. İSDER has enlisted 58 members in 10 years. İSDER continues its sectorial operations in line with F.E.M.- European Federation of Materials Handling (www.fem-eur.com) whose structure is also a guide for İSDER. İSDER is the only association that has the right of use and gives the right to use the F.E.M (European Federation of Materials Handling) Logo to companies that operates in Turkiye. Also, İSDER is the only operation that evaluates production in compliance with F.E.M standards. In the sector, there are 400 companies, 200 manufacturing companies and 100 sub-industry companies.

The Main Mission of İSDER;

To increase the cooperation, coordination, negotiation and efficiency between its members.
To establish cooperation between the suppliers of forklifts, storages, cranes, handling, conveyors, loading, lifting equipment and racking sectors, in order to address the relevant issues and problems and to find solutions for a strong platform.
To increase the dialogue between the sector members and the state of government, to be issued in all official directives, laws, regulations, standards, preparation and realiation of joint work.
To assure the EU-World integration between sector and government of TURKIYE
To represent İSDER members and our country in all kinds of stages concerning a wide variety of topics, of the fairs and organizations it supports.

As a result of the achievements in our working principles, ISDER’s position has become incontestable in our industry, our official institutions, in Europe and worldwide. İSDER has face to face meetings with 200 bureaucrats, including 45 ministers and with the official government offices as it continuously develops all the necessary studies and cooperation.
